Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) Powder is the sodium salt ester of coconut fatty acid. It is a very gentle surfactant that is also known as BabyFoam. Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate Powder is non-drying, creates luxurious foam and leaves a silky feeling on the skin.

"Wonderful Surfactant " |

COMMENTS: We use this in a powder to foam facial cleanser and also a Body Shower Bar. The glorious, copious, soft lather coupled with extreme gentleness makes this surfactant a must for cleansing products! However, I saw that someone else commented on using this in a liquid cleanser--it will separate in a water-based shower or facial cleanser. Pricing could be a bit better, but it balances out because additional shipping is not added to orders over $25. That's where other suppliers get us!

COMMENTS: I'm so disappointed with this product, when making a clear formula for my shower gel, when I add fragrance it gets cloudy and it does not clear up. I miss the Makeyourownbuzz brand that one would clear up after a day! Why mess up a good thing, please fix the formula! Or get another manufacturer.
