This basic square mold allows for soap creations that are anything but basic! Use this mold with embed paper to create completely personalized bars of soap for weddings, bridal showers, or baby showers.

Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap into silicone mold cavities. Allow soap to cool at room temperature until hard. Carefully remove soap from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap and carefully pull out of the mold.
Cold Process Soap: Pour soap at trace into the mold cavities. After at least 24 hours, gently pull silicone mold to loosen its grip on the soap. Flip mold over onto a clean surface and gently push on the bottom of mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap with a gloved hand, and allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cold process soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Cold Process/Oven Process Soap: Pour soap at trace into the mold cavities. Preheat oven to 170ºF then place mold in oven. Turn oven off, and keep soap in oven overnight. The next day remove mold from oven. Carefully remove soap from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap and carefully pull out of the mold. Allow soap to cure for 2 to 4 weeks.
Hot Process Soap: Scoop hot process soap into mold cavities. Gently tap the mold onto the counter to remove air pockets. Allow soap to cool and harden. (This can take up to 48 hours.) Carefully remove soap from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap and carefully pull out of the mold.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold cavities. Allow mixture to solidify. Carefully remove lotion bars from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the lotion bars, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the lotion bars starts to release. Grab hold of lotion bar and carefully pull out of mold.
Care:
Hand wash in warm sudsy water.

COMMENTS: This mold make nice big square bars that fit the square soap boxes perfectly. I don't need to do anything e\xtra to the bars once I pour theme. I am ordering five more.I do wish this came in a twelve bar mold.

COMMENTS: I am new to soap making, but tried some melt & pour soaps and also plan to use this square shape for some other projects. I love that the mold is silicone and soft sided for easy popping out, but it also has nice sharp edges and corners and a good depth!

COMMENTS: This product maintains its shape really well. My soap bars have the smoothest edges which I was having a hard time achieving when I cut by hand. My soaps pop easily from the mold. I like that I can make small batches of soap and ensure I'm getting the results I want before making several dozen at a time. I would absolutely purchase this mold again.

COMMENTS: I bought the COMBO pack of these silicon molds. They are all easy to use and the shapes are all fun. I actually like the square and the oval more than I expected! My CP soap comes out of these very well. I have made plain bars in these already. Now I am thinking about stamping the bars for extra flare.

COMMENTS: I hadn't realized how big of bars this mold makes. They are easily 6 oz in weight (soaps) and a bit cumbersome to use on the shower as they are so large. My customers told me that they often cut them half before using.

COMMENTS: I purchased this when they were red colored so I haven't had a chance to try the new clear ones. I've been using this mold for about a year and it's great. The soaps come out perfect every time. They are easy to clean too. Sometimes fragrance lingers after I've washed it but it eventually goes away and doesn't transfer. The mold is very sturdy. I've twisted and pulled and did just about everything to it but it hasn't weakened or tore.
