Directions:

DIRECTIONS: Incorporate into formula, amount as desired. Common use levels are 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per pound of base. Test your final product to insure optimal performance and no staining. Not recommended for leave on products.

STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase. Keep out of reach from children and pets.

CAUTION: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and away from eyes. Do not inhale.

"Great additive " COMMENTS:  I've never used this in my soap until today! Mixed blended well. Didn't separate. No real scent. Turns a medium to dark brown depending how much you use. "A little goes a long way" COMMENTS:  I bought this for colorant in cold process and cpop. I used a little less than a tsp for 4lbs of oils. With cp it's a muted chocolate with dark specs and with cpop it's a beautiful deep brown color. I love that is adds exfoliating qualities to the finished soap. PRODUCT USED IN:   Soap - Cold Process, Soap - CPOP

"Excellent natural colorant! " COMMENTS:  I love this natural colorant for my CP soaps. I use it often for soaps such as Coffee, Gingerbread Soap, or anything that needs a "brown" colorant. "Black walnut" COMMENTS:  If you are looking for a mottled brownish natural colorant this is it! I am going to purchase a coffee fragrance oil and use the black walnut powder to color it because it will produce a coffee ground type finish. Very cool! PRODUCT USED IN:   Soap - Melt & Pour

"Wonderful natural colorant" COMMENTS:  I just finished using this black walnut powder to color my cp soap that is scented with carribean coconut. It mixed very well with warm water and then when I added it to my soap I used the hand mixer and it mixed so beautifully. Very nice brown color. I love that it is beneficial for dry skin. Staff Answer No, this does not need to be premixed with anything before adding to a MP soap base. Staff Answer We have only tested this in soaps and bath fizzies, so I cannot say how it will work in cream.
