Chamomile powder contains a compound called apigenin, which is commonly used in skincare products. Chamomile is also commonly associated with being a relaxing scent, making it very attractive to the cosmetic industry! Use this herbal powder to color/ enrich your handmade cosmetics and soaps!

DIRECTIONS: Incorporate into formula, amount as desired. Common use levels are 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per pound of base. Test your final product to insure optimal performance and no staining.

COMMENTS: It's hard to find chamomile powder, and this one is great. It has a very strong chamomile aroma. I personally am not a fan of the fragrance, but I do love its calming effects. It doesn't change the color of your MP either!

The soap was made darker with this powder, between yellow and brown. Like chamomille tea color.

COMMENTS: I got this for my melt and pour soap recipes. Its very green. Not neon though, more of a light sage color. It smells wonderful, I added a tablespoon to one pound of soap, which was way to much. My soap was extremely green. The next time I made soap I only added a teaspoon, which was just right and added a wonderful light scent and slight color to my soaps. I will purchase again when I run out.
