Our Premium Shave & Shampoo Melt and Pour Soap Base has a creamy lather that is ideal for shave and shampoo needs. It is fortified with Pure Argan Oil, Silk Protein and Honey Protein, which are thought to pamper while helping with moisture and shine. Extracts include Calendula Flower, Aloe, Carrageenan and Sunflower. This base is naturally cloudy with no added pigments and is somewhat transparent. The ten-pound block makes (40) 4 oz. bars of soap and measures 12" x 11" x 2.25". This soap has a luxurious big bubble lather.

Directions:
MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.
MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.
ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!
CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older.

COMMENTS: My customer loved this so much they ordered 75 bars for Christmas presents
The soap came wrapped in blue plastic which I thought would really be a problem when I started trying to pull the plastic off. The plastic was stuck inside every wrinkles. I did discover if you start cutting the huge soap into smaller pieces the plastic comes right out

COMMENTS: The product itself is fantastic, and is the only shampoo bars my family uses. I wish the packaging was better though. It seems that the liquefied base is poured directly into the blue bag and then left to solidify- which causes the base to become solid around the bag's creases and folds. Sometimes I have to chip away carefully at the base because the bag has been trapped almost to the center of the block of base. I wish there were an easier, more save-friendly way of packaging that would make cutting the amount of base you need and being able to reseal the package to keep unwanted dirt and particles out.

COMMENTS: Wow! I never knew! I decided to try out the melt and pour shave and shampoo bar. I have a monthly community event where I live and thought I would bring some to sell. They sold like crazy! I add hydrolized rice protein that makes the product work even better. My customers came back to tell me they love them and love how they make their hair feel after using. They are now repeat customers for this bar. It is so simple to make. I am in love with this product!

COMMENTS: I fragranced and molded ten pounds of this Premium Shave and Shampoo MP Soap which molded as expected. I wanted to sell the molded soap as shampoo bars, which is what this soap is advertised here to do. I tried the shampoo on my own hair, and it left my hair dry and full of tangles, but somehow sticky at the same time. The soap was harsh on my hair, and I would not sell this product as shampoo. I do not recommend this soap for washing hair. I will sell the soap as just soap, but it is not shampoo.

COMMENTS: So, I had a 2# block and decided to make some shampoo bars for a client tonight (special request). Had a half bar left over (about 2-3 oz) so I decided to try it myself. Let me just say, I'm never buying shampoo from the store again. I've never seen such thick luxurious foam from a bar before. Totally sold!!

COMMENTS: This shave and shampoo bar is a big hit with my male and female customers. The guys like how it decreases razor burn on their neck and how smooth it makes their face feel. They love the lather it makes for shampoo and one male customer I have calls it Head to Toe. The ladies love it as shampoo because the rosemary pure essential oil I add reduces grey plus it leaves hair more manageable.Less packaging waste and easy to travel with is another reason its popular with my customer base. The reasons I love it is the same as above. I love being able to change the scents I want from month to month.

COMMENTS: Add a little rosemary to this base to make flake reducing shampoo bars. My son loves his and they are made at a fraction of the cost of many retail dandruff shampoos. I have a small group of men who have tried and love the shave bars. They love the fact they can pick the scent. It is not as creamy as commercial shaving cream but the men who have tried the shave soap love the way their faces feel after using the shaving bars.

COMMENTS: I love this soap for shampoo and I love for shaving...it has a nice slip and it takes having to use bentonite in order to make shaving soap. I also love the face that it can also be used to bathe with. I love the feel of the soap on my skin and how it softens the skin. I love the clean non sticky feeling I get from bathing with this soap. It is an all over bath body and hair soap.

"Great soap, great lather for shaving" |

COMMENTS: I love this soap. The lather is great and it works great for shaving, our customers love it. My only complaint is the smell when I mold it. It might be because the other soaps I use are detergent free so it could be the smell of the hot detergent that I don't like. Once it's cooled it goes away I just make sure I make all I need in one shot so I don't have to smell it over and over.
